ROI tracking: profit per offer, source and placement
GoTrack sets what you paid for traffic against what it earned. Spend is imported from your ad accounts, revenue arrives by postback, and your reports show profit and ROI where you make the decisions.
- Ad spend imported
- Profit and ROI per offer
- Rules that act on ROI
- Profit per placement
Ad spend imported, not typed in
Revenue alone does not tell you whether a campaign made money. On the Ad Spend page you connect your ad accounts once, and GoTrack pulls their campaign spend every day, or right away with Sync now. Supported sources include Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising, Taboola, Outbrain, PropellerAds, Adsterra, ExoClick, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Yandex.Direct, and the connect form lists more, such as MGID, RevContent, TrafficStars, TrafficJunky, Zeropark and RichAds.
Credentials are stored encrypted and never shown back. Accounts billing in different currencies are converted to one currency at import, so totals stay comparable, and a status per account tells you when a key needs renewing.
How spend is matched to your offers
Each source’s spend is split over the offers its traffic reached, by their share of that source’s clicks. Spend on a source that brought no clicks in the period stays unattributed instead of being guessed onto an offer. For exact numbers, bind a tracking link to its campaign at the network: the spend then lines up with the campaign your clicks came from.
Reports with profit and ROI
Once spend flows in, the performance reports show cost, profit and ROI next to clicks, conversions, revenue, EPC and conversion rate, per offer and broken down by country and device. The Cost & ROI by offer table on the Ad Spend page sums it up over 7, 30 or 90 days, and a scheduled report brings the numbers to your inbox as a CSV.
Rules that act on the numbers
A rule watches a metric for you: EPC, CR, CPA, spend, profit, ROI, clicks or conversions, over a window from 1 hour to 7 days, with a minimum number of clicks before it counts. It is checked every 5 minutes, hourly or daily, on an offer, source, campaign, ad group, ad or placement. When it matches it can alert you, pause or re-activate the target at the traffic platform, change the bid by a percentage, or block losing placements. Every rule starts in record-only mode, and a dry run shows what it would match before you let it act.
Profit per placement with Agentic Media Buying
Bind a tracking link to the campaign you run on a network and GoTrack sets your revenue against the cost the network reports, per placement. Networks that report cost per zone show the exact figure; for the others the campaign cost is split by traffic share and marked as an estimate. From there Agentic Media Buying can block losing placements, change bids, manage the daily budget and exclude countries, devices, hours and IP ranges, each part Off, Advise (you approve) or Auto.
Set it up in five steps
- Make sure conversions arrive with their payout (see postback tracking).
- Connect your ad accounts on the Ad Spend page and wait for Synced, or press Sync now.
- Bind your tracking links to their campaigns at the network.
- Open the performance reports and sort by ROI.
- Add a rule for the losses you no longer want to watch by hand.

Frequently asked questions
How is ROI calculated?
Profit is revenue minus spend, and ROI is that profit as a percentage of the spend. Revenue comes from the payouts in your postbacks, spend from your connected ad accounts.
Why are the cost, profit and ROI columns empty?
No ad account is connected yet, or its import stopped. Check the Ad Spend page: Reconnect needed means the key expired or was revoked, so enter it again.
Is the cost per placement exact?
Where the network reports cost per zone, yes. Some networks only report the cost of the whole campaign; then it is split over the placements by their share of the traffic and marked as an estimate.
Can rules change my campaigns automatically?
Only when you switch on automatic actions for that rule. Until then every match is recorded in the rule’s history for you to review, and a dry run shows what it would match right now.
Which ad networks can spend be imported from?
Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising, Taboola, Outbrain, PropellerAds, Adsterra, ExoClick, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Yandex.Direct among others. The connect form in your panel has the full list.
